New Avenues for Youth is thrilled to be partnering with Untapped Trivia for a week of fun trivia, July 20-24, to bring awareness and support for our work.

At New Avenues for Youth, we are dedicated to supporting queer and trans youth by providing safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces where they can truly thrive. Through programs like the Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center (SMYRC) in downtown Portland and culturally-tailored case management services throughout the organization, we ensure young people have the resources and relationships they need to grow and succeed.

LGBTQIA2S+ youth are overrepresented in the homeless population, making up more than 40% of the youth who access services. With queer and trans youth 120% more likely to experience homelessness, your support has a huge impact on our ability to provide these critical services.

Together, we can create a future where every LGBTQIA2S+ youth has the opportunity to be their best self. Thank you for your commitment to this work!

About Untapped Trivia:

Gathering, commingling, and quizzically entertaining Portlanders and visitors from near and far since 2016.

Launched in 2016 at a small, local craft beer bar in North Portland, Untapped Trivia has raised over $100,000+ for Portland and Oregon nonprofits and charities. Untapped Trivia is LGBTQ+ owned and voted “Best Trivia Night” in 2022, 2023, and 2024 in Willamette Week’s “Best of Portland” readers’ poll.
